[mrtg] No Data when run as Cronjob

Anyone have any ideas why I am having the following problem?

I telnet to my slackware system and run the mrtg job manually (which is monitoring Portmasters with pm3lines.pl) and it collects data properly, however when I run the job from my crontab, it no longer collects data from the external program (pm3lines.pl).  It still appears to work properly for the routers though.
