I'm having a problem getting MRTG 2.9.4 giving "false" error messages and
refusing to work:
### Interface 1 >> Descr: 'Ethernet built-in' | Name: '' | Ip: '' | Eth:
'00-05-9a-80-e6-e9' ###
### The following interface is commented out because:
### * got 'Received SNMP response with error code
### error status: noSuchName
### index 1 (OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.1)
### SNMPv1_Session (remote host: "192.168.0.1" [192.168.0.1].161
### community: "public"
### request ID: 1869133391
### PDU bufsize: 8000 bytes
### timeout: 2s
### retries: 5
### backoff: 1)' from interface when trying to query

I don't see any reason why it's giving that error, seeing as how MRTG 2.8.12
does not give any such errors on the exact same machine. What's going on?
As an aside, the same thing happens in a Cisco 7200 series router, except
that router has about 150 or so SNMP indexes. I've posted this problem to
the list once but have yet to see any response.
