[mrtg] Mail Stats Now Pop Stats

I have successfuly graphed mail ( sendmail smtp ) stats with
some great help from this list. Now I wondered has anyone
tried to graph popper processes ?
ie the Pop server 

# The ipop3d POP3 server is part of the Pine distribution.  If you've
# installed the Pine package, you may wish to switch to ipop3d by 
# commenting out the pop3 line above, and uncommenting the pop3 line below.

+OK POP3 localhost v7.59 server ready

That logs like this in syslog .

Oct 31 11:25:36 localhost ipop3d[19527]: connect from 192.168.20.20
Oct 31 11:25:39 localhost ipop3d[19527]: Login user=cy1_001 host=x.x.x.x
[192.168.20.20] nmsgs=0/0
Oct 31 11:25:44 localhost ipop3d[19527]: Logout user=cyl_001 host=x.x.x.x
[192.168.20.20] nmsgs=0 ndele=0

Perhaps graphing the number of times this user logs in ?
Or the number of logins and the number of messages ?

Any help scripts hints appreciated.
