    Write a perl script that will parse that.  You only need the 'usr' and 'sys'
columns really.  So, your perl script should read that result in, and parse out
the last line, and then take only those two columns and return it for MRTG to
use.

    I have a similar script running on my (unix) system.  sysstat also returns
output similar to your mpstat.

    Go to http://mrtg.yeehaw.net and read the CPU info sheet.
