[mrtg] BGP4

Hi!
I am an undergratuate student from India doing an introductory course in
Internetworking. As part of my term assignment i am expected to design an
intranet that connects two LANs, one running IP with IGRP and one running
IPX with RIP and SAP. I plan to use an exterior gateway running BGP4 on
either side. I would like to know how this setup would deal with ICMP
messages. Infact, i would like to know what is the best thing to do with
them. Would it be advisable to allow hosts on the other network to use a
Lans' DHCP server? what are the issues involved?. Also kindly pass on to
me some links that would be helpful. Thanking you,
