[mrtg] measurement interval

Hi,

I'm trying to have MRTG measure trafic on an ISDN line, but I need more
measurements than one every 5 minutes, i.e. 20 or 30 seconds. If I give in
Interval =1 in the configuration file, MRTG breaks with an error, telling me
5 minutes is minimum. If I write a batchfile which starts MRTG every 20
seconds, it seems to me that mrtg refresh its data every 5 minutes, ignoring
my 20s interval.
Question : how can I have MRTG measure traffic every 20/30 seconds ?!?
