First you have to use MRTG together with rrdtool ('UseRRDTool' or
'logformat: rrdtool'). Create the rrd files manually (look at the source
for the parameters or let mrtg create the files and re-create them with
a shorter interval, see rrdcreate(1)) and run mrtg with cron as often as
you wish.
