Maybe it's not in the docs, but I just stumbled on it reading the scripts.
Tobi, could you verify? I believe you find the line in the main MRTG perl
script where it says

$main::GRAPHFMT="png";

and change it to

$main::GRAPHFMT="gif";

I looked in the documentation and could not find how to make it use GIF's
instead of PNG's which it did by default. Can you point me to the
documentation that has these instructions? I have several users that prefer
Netscape and all have the same problem. I guess Netscape doesn't read .png
files by default so I need to make them .gif files. Thanks for your help.

Probably your Netscape isn't set up for the graphics format you're using,
e.g. if you're using .png, your Netscape may not understand that, but IE
does. You could try using .gif format instead. I believe the MRTG
documentation describes how to configure for that.

Does anyone know why the graphs do not show up in Netscape Communicator 4.7
but do show up in IE? All of the other data shows up, just not the graphs.

Thanks.
