[mrtg] Threshold checking

Hi all,


Well OK. MRTG threshold checking works fine.
I tested with a mail alert.


My question: is someone has already try to make a detection on any network
equipment availability (ie “ROUTER ezwf down” or “TRUNK xyz now up”) ?

I tested with “ThresMin[_]” I/O to 0 (zero). Then I can see if a WAN link is
down for example (no activity=0 data)
But I can’t see a router down even if MRTG can’t access to…

Help me please !
