First of all, you write on your page that you really need SNMP to
work.  I think this may not necessarily be true.  If you can get
the statistics in another way, you can write a script and use the
external program interface of MRTG.

I have no solution for you to get the correct statistics from your
router.  However, I know that sometimes it helps to upgrade to a
newer software release (called CBOS on these routers).

Visit the cisco web site, and search for "CBOS SNMP".  I did so
and found, amongst other things, bug CSCdp20428.  However, I
couldn't find out what this bug really means.  It talks about
"The snmp agent is not returning the correct data to the client"
and was resolved in CBOS release 2.3.0 

Maybe you found a similar bug in cbos 2.4.1 for the 677i-DIR.
