Hi,
My name is Jerry. I'm new to the group. I have searched the archives on
this topic but cannot find any references for it. I'm configuring MRTG to
point with IP and IPX to sub-interfaces on a Cisco 7507. The IP portion
works with this configuration:
Target[filename]: Serial5/1.4:community at ipaddress
But am unable to get IPX to work with this configuration:
Target[filename]:
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.64.23&1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.65.23:community at ipaddress
I checked my config.ok file and it shows me that 5/1.4 is 23. What I'm not
sure of is the OID. I copied this from the .cfg file that is pointing to
the interfaces themselves (i.e s5/1) and works great. Here's the error I
get on the IPX config:
SNMP Error:
Received SNMP response with error code
error status: noSuchName
index 1 (OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.64.23)
Is there something that needs to be added to the OID to get it to see the
sub-interfaces for IPX? Thanks in advance,
Jerry Droptini
