[mrtg] Daily stats max showing lower than Weekly max...

Today, looking at a graph for one of our routers, today was the highest we
have peaked on a specific port.

>From the daily stats:		Max  In: 6986.5 kb/s (58.2%)
>From the weekly stats:		Max  In: 7010.6 kb/s (58.4%)

anyone know why MRTG might be reporting that?

the high spike happened several hours ago...

we are running version 2.9.12a
