no i had not ;) okay, changed the query to the OID :

i thought i had to give the port to the configuration, but it looks like he 
does'nt need it.

querying the proxy with snmpwalk shows this: 

bash-2.04# snmpwalk -p 3401 -s proxy public 5.2.1.2
End of MIB.
Got 1 responses containing 0 variables
time taken 1 milliseconds


is this correct? my knowledge on snmp is very small.
