[mrtg] mrtg-2.9.17 installation help

All,
I need your help installing mrtg-2.9.17 on Sun station:
I installed and configured every thing including the “make” and “make
install phase”.
I used the cfgmaker to create cfg file and tried to start the mrtg process.
At this phase I got stacked:
I received the error message:

Id.so.1: /usr/mrtg/mrtg-2.9.17/bin/rateup:
Fatal: libpng.so.3: open failed no such file or directory
Rateup died from signal 9
With exit value 0 when doing router 10.10.10.10_2 signal was 9, returncode
was 0

I know that I have the symbolic link called libpng.so.3 I also have the file
he pointed to.
I performed the pngtest and every thing seem to works fine.
