[mrtg] Re: Ping with MRTG

Well, MRTG can't, but there are two programs out there you can use as externals to do pings - mrtg-ping-probe and smokeping.  

I use ping-probe and it works, but I haven't had the chance to implement smokeping yet.

Search on google or at the mrtg site for both.
