I do not really understand why this can/should happen. If I change the
values
I really manipulate the collected info I think. I have done so and the values changed
but I don´t understand why the MAX out is different between daily and weekly if the
max value was today.
Can anybody explain me the differences between the values and if the MAX value
should be the same?
original values:
981628200 243 6579 321 10364
981627900 310 5957 321 10364
changed values:
981628200 243 2400 321 3000
981627900 310 2460 321 3200

Chris

The four columns are the values mrtg uses to graph the data. I was just
suggesting to find the biggest number (make a note of the time and real
value) and change it to something that matches the values around it to
see if the graphs (daily & weekly especially) change.

You are right I do not use RRDTool till now. What column do you mean and
what why should I change the values? What should happen?
PS I have 4 columns after time column.

I think I already know the answer to this one.... Are you using RRDTool?
I'm guessing you aren't.
If not, look at the logs and try to figure out where that huge spike is in
the
.log file. It shouldn't be hard, just find a number that is close to
either
what the daily graph or weekly graph says and go from there. Let
me know what numbers you find. If nothing else, find the biggest number
and change it to something less, delete all your gifs for that host, run
mrtg again and see what changes....
