[mrtg] time stamp - one day ahead

I have started running MRTG and I'm trying to familiarise myself with it. I
have converted the timestamp into Excel by using the following formula:

=(x+y) / 86400+DATE(1970,1,1)

This is fine, the problem is that I get results like this:These were taken
from today's log file (09-02-2001).

Why is it that MRTG is generating time stamps for the 10-02-2001, how can I
check this error and correct it.
