[mrtg] c3640 fastethernet subinterfaces

Does anyone know if it's possible to graph subinterfaces on a c3640 router?
regardless of what IOS version I use up to and including 12.1(5)T, configmaker never breaks out the subinterfaces, it just gives me fa0/0 as a single interface.
On a 3660 router the subinterfaces on fa0/0 are each reported separately using the same IOS versions. 
I assume this means that the hardware in the 3640 won't support this, does anyone know for sure?
