Hi,
I have a network of 6 Cisco Catalyst 6509 routers, all connected by gigabit
fibre. These in turn feed off about 4 or 5 gigabit connections into some
Cisco switches. I have been monitoring the routers for a couple of days. But
the traffic being recorded on them appears to be very low - eg; one of the
routers feeds a vlan in our core datacenter which contains about 40 NT
servers, we have about 2000 users connected to these servers, but the
traffic graph has a max of 3328 bits per second and an average of 1200 bits
per second. This doesnt seem to be an accurate record of the traffic going
across the link.
Here is some of the config file:
WorkDir: /var/www/html/mrtg

Is changing the MaxBytes going to help much ? I've read about it but I dont
think it would effect anything.
Can anyone help me out with this problem ?
