[mrtg] snmp.conf and cfgmaker question

Thanks for the help, but I still was unable to run cfgmaker on [Target]: nic
card on eth0 successfully. I tried editing the snmpd.conf file, in
particular the ACL, still nothing.

Where things get odd is that I renamed my snmpd.conf and snmpd.local.conf
with a .bak so that I could start fresh. Only thing was, I forgot to put in
new snmpd.conf files and ran cfgmaker with public at 192.168.0.1 and there it
was, the mrtg.cfg I was looking for. I have been happily graphing for a
couple of days now and everything seems to be working correctly.

Has anyone else had this work? By removing snmpd.conf files will I have
problems trying to graph other services such as CPU load, HD usage, etc.

Thanks,

Craig

I do not get a response back.

I made some changes, but I am still not getting a response.

I have gone through the snmpd.conf man pages and am still having trouble
with what to modify.

Thanks for the help as I at least know what I need to work with.
