[mrtg] HP ProCurve 10BT Problems

I'm trying to setup a HP Procurve 10BT managed hub to simply report bandwidth usage, but I'm not having any luck. I've run cfgmaker and it found the hub and created the .cfg file successfully using the ip and community name that I provided, however, the values in the .log file don't seem to be right.

The hub only has 2 ports being used. Port 1 is our connection to the ISP switch (we're limited right now to 1Mbps), and Port 2 is connected to our firewall. Following is the first few lines of the .log file, and the first few lines of the .cfg file. myhub has been substituted for my hub's community name, and 111.111.111.111 has been substituted for the ip address. At the time that log file was written, our actual usage was somewhere around 256Kbs. I don't think it makes a difference, but I have deleted the "public" community name and added my own community name for security purposes, but mrtg seems to be able to find the hub fine with my name.

As you can see,the log shows 2295716 incoming bytes, and 1691849 outgoing bytes instead of the actual +- 256kbs. Obviously I'm getting bogus numbers somehow. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
