[mrtg] mrtg 2.8.12: no data from gigabit interfaces

hi,

i have running mrtg 2.8.12 at our site to monitor the network interfaces of 
our solaris server (solaris 2.6.1, enterprise 450).  i get the data for the 
100mbit interfaces (hme0, qfe0), but a completely empty graph for the fibre 
gigabit interface (ge0).

is that a (known) problem of mrtg or of our local configuration of the server?
