You need to copy your *.log files and your *.cfg files over. When MRTG
runs it will update the old log files and create new gif or png files. If
you are using RRD the history files will be *.rrd.

Subject: [mrtg] transfering history

What is the best way to transfer the history from an old version of MRTG
to
a new version. It is also located on a different machine. I also
noticed
that they are not in .gif format but in .png, how would I convert that?
I am just looking for an easy way to transfer stats that have been
running
for years onto a new machine that has an updated version of MRTG.

Thanks,
