[mrtg] Traffic totals

Hi All,
       I need to extract traffic stats from the MRTG log files. We need to
find the total number of bytes in and out over any given period. I'm doing
this under NT, so a perl script won't help much unless it's fully
self-contained. I tried mrtglog.c which came with the 2.9.4 distribution,
but it's results look to be inaccurate. Anybody done this before?
