There is no specific way to identify one MRTG (perl.exe) Process from
another. You just need to kill them all and then restart the 9 good ones
right away. It will never make any difference in the graph outputs. I do
it frequently when playing. (I use one big master cfg file and run it as a
service.)

I like to use the kill.exe command line utility from the NT resource kit.
This allows me to kill every instance of a program, such as perl.exe, at
once rather than 1 at a time using the task manager

Subject:	[mrtg] newbie question on killing only one process

In mrtg 2.9.7 (on NT) is there a way to stop just one instance ?
For example: I am running mrtg successfully on 10 devices concurrently and
I messed up a .cfg file on one of the switches and want to change it.
It won't let me delete the lock file because it is in use.

Thanks for your assistance in this matter
