[mrtg] Rollover problem

Im guessing linux has a rollover problem once a number hits over
2,000,000,000 (2 billion).

I have some stats being generated that seem to be polled correctly, but 0's
are appearing in the logfile:

982631279 2931979254 2931979254
982631279 0 0 0 0
982630978 0 0 0 0

Can anyone explain?
