At the risc of stating the obvious, you need different counters per
web site. MRTG will normally monitor the network interface and these
counters of course only count bytes, not bytes with purpose "x".

Your real problem is not with MRTG. When you've found a proper set
of counters, and are capable of querying them, MRTG will happily
log and graph them.

The most logical place for these counters would be in the http server.
The most logical way of accessing the counters would be SNMP. That
means that the SNMP server on that box needs access to the http servers
counters. I don't know enough of NT to say that this is, or is not,
possible but I do recall having read something on the MRTG about this
a long time ago. IIRC it has something to do with the performance
monitor?

Anyway, if you can't find this in the archives I suggest you go to
a SNMP or windows forum and ask there how to query statistics, using
SNMP, from a IIS server. A quick search on www.microsoft.com may
also prove to be worth the time.

If you do get a positive answer you probably will end up with a
(longish) OID, having multiple instances. Each instance will be
a counter for a web site.
