Tom,
Have you tried running cfgmaker against the box to see what you
come up with? Generally, cfgmaker will get the basic network interfaces
to get you going, and then you can add the rest once that is confirmed to
be working correctly.

i thought i had most of this mrtg/net-snmp stuff figured out.
but i seem to have missed something. i simply need to monitor
network traffic on a host that is running net-snmp's snmpd.
when i do an snmpwalk of the host i don't come across any
mibs that are offered that seem to contain network traffic
data. it does offer network stats right?
