I seen to be having a problem with a particular section of my config
file. I added this section:

MRTG seems to be able to poll the router, which is a Cisco 7206vxr, but
after the initial run of MRTG I keep getting "corrupted log files", and
nothing ever gets updated.
Rateup ERROR: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup found
lab72c-f10.zama6.net_pkt's log file was corrupt
or not in sorted order:
time: 980372042.Rateup WARNING: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup could not
read the primary log file for lab72c-f10.zama6.net_pkt
Rateup ERROR: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup found
lab72c-f10.zama6.net_pkt's log file was corrupt
or not in sorted order:
time: 980372042.Rateup WARNING: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup The backup
log file for lab72c-f10.zama6.net_pkt was invalid as well
WARNING: rateup died from Signal 0
with Exit Value 1 when doing router 'lab72c-f10.zama6.net_pkt'
Signal was 0, Returncode was 1
I searched the mail list archive, and have found references to this
error message. There is only one instance of MRTG running and it's only
polling one router. I even tried running MRTG as a daemon. There must
be something wrong in my config. Thankyou for the help.
