Hello,
You can do this by changing the time that the cron job runs.
i.e. in your /etc/crontab
*/5 * * * * root /usr/local/mrtg/bin/mrtg /home/mrtg/mrtg.cfg
runs the script every five minutes
by lowering the /X value you can essentially run the program every X
minutes.
