[mrtg] Re: mrtg performance (again)..

b) stored to network drive (the webserver)
c) see a) ... running w2k
d) check
e) tried this, but it's (almost) hopeless since I don't run mrtg and the
webserver on the same machine.

I'm out of luck, I guess :/

And I use multiple .cfg files for my targets.

a) make sure you are using unix

b) make sure mrtg logs to a local harddrive

c) use the forks option (try forks: 5)

d) use the runasdaemon option

e) switch to rrdtool for logging
