[mrtg] Interface Descriptions for Cisco routers

Hello,

Using MRTG 2.9.17, is there a way to get cfgmaker to use the `description' as specified in the IOS configuration?  I tried using

    cfgmaker --ifdesc=descr --ifref=ip myrouter

but the `Title' that shows up for the interface is the interface name, i.e. `FastEthernet1/0/0'.  How does one get it to use the text from the IOS config?  The router is running IOS v12.1.
