[mrtg] Need help

Hello,

I have installed and configured ovmrtg with NNM on solaris2.7 .. till
last tuesday, all was well, then suddenly we started to get values in
graphs only for outgoing traffic ,0 for incomming traffic on all
configured routers/switches...
we just re-added a switch into the configuration and it started to work
fine for all configured devices,, but we lost about 3 days of data..

Any one faced similar strange problems ?? How do we prevent such things
from happening??
