sorry should have said ....not using mrtg, this is a perl -> rrd job
requires multiple values on single graph....

So create an rrd....feed it a bogus initial value from after the value of
the last update and then feed it data in chronological order? (just asking
before i hack my lovingly crafted scripts to bits :-)
