[mrtg] indexmaker question

Hi all
I am new to runnign MRTG . I have it up and  monitoring a handful of our
switches and routers. I use the indexmaker tool to create the index 
pages for the
devices. I tried to use the  --width and --height options and they don't 
seem to
have any effect on the size of the graph.
If anyone has a clue as to what works please feel free to clue me in.
