Hello All,
I have something funny going on here, and I need some help in figuring out
what is going on...
Our upstream provider is telling me that we are peaking at over 3.5 Mbps on
our link to them, and my graphs are showing something completely different.
We have a Cabletron SSR 2000, which has 16 routed Ethernet ports. 1 of
these is a 100Mb connection to InterNap, our upstream provider.
Here is the config I have in MRTG, and a link to a copy of the page/graph it
creates
http://www.powerit-up.com/temp/internap_1.html
### InterNAP link 1
Target[InterNap_1]: 1:public at 64.253.64.1
SetEnv[InterNap_1]: MRTG_INT_IP="" MRTG_INT_DESCR="Physical port: et.1.1"
MaxBytes[InterNap_1]: 125000000
Title[InterNap_1]: Traffic Analysis for InterNap - Link 1
PageTop[InterNap_1]: <H1>Traffic Analysis for InterNap - Link 1</H1>
<TABLE>
<TR><TD>System:</TD> <TD>PWR-INAP-SSR in </TD></TR>
<TR><TD>Maintainer:</TD> <TD></TD></TR>
<TR><TD>Description:</TD><TD>InterNap Port 1</TD></TR>
<TR><TD>ifType:</TD> <TD>ethernetCsmacd (6)</TD></TR>
<TR><TD>ifName:</TD> <TD>et.1.1</TD></TR>
<TR><TD>Max Speed:</TD> <TD>125 MBytes/s</TD></TR>
</TABLE>
Why is this graph only showing 120 kBytes max? If the ISP says we are using
over 3.5 Mbps?
Is something wrong in my configuration???
Thanks!!!
Edward Kuhner
