I use this perl script to do a number of things on my cisco routers,
including set snmp and save (write net) copies of configs on my tftp box.
It's easy to use and saves megatime! It's called MRAT - Multi Router
Automated Telnet. I stumbled across it one day here:
http://cisco.nothingnet.com/mrat.html
I see he has MHAT for windows, but I've never tried it......
The more routers you have, the more you aprecciate this tool. I've also
played around a bit (limited success) to use it for maintianing non-cisco
devices.
Anyway, if you have a lot of cicos, try this out.

Subject: [mrtg] Perl script needed
First of all I want to apologise for the off topic post.
I have helped a few people on this list, especially WindowsNT/2K users with
my Daemon, creep creep, grovel, grovel :-)
I know nothing about Perl scripting and I don't have the resource or time to
learn right now.
I would like somebody to create a small Perl script that will do the
following...
Send SNMP SET command(s) to over 140 Cisco routers.
And that's it.
If anybody can help please reply to me or the moderators may get a little
peeved :-)
Thanks
