[mrtg] does not make sense

Hi,
I am trying to use Joshua Wright script to measure round trip of our
network.
I keep on receiving the message:
ERROR: line 4 (@pingresult = ‘ping –s 10.254.254.45 56 5’;) in cfg file does
not make sense.
I know that the user of this forum tend to answer only more general
question, yet I need your help and I will appreciate if any of you can will
answer me here or to:
