Hi Julien,

I got it ! (I Hope:)

When I do a snmpwalk for total number of IP datagrams detected on card I get
a value

[mrtg at mrtghost]# snmpwalk ip-target public .1.3.6.1.2.1.4.3
ip.ipInReceives.0 = 4902868

My script read:
Target[test.host]: .1.3.6.1.2.1.4.3&.1.3.6.1.2.1.4.3:public at ip-target

But is should read .1.3.6.1.2.1.4.3.0 <-- ( 0!)  duh....
It seems this SNMP value is only read on one device (only loopback?). With
Getif I only see one device (instance).

But on other OID I see two... guess that's a snmp related question, will
post that one elsewhere.

In any case I'm on my way to understanding MRTG ed. ;-)

greets,

Chris
