[mrtg] can't resolve "#" to IP address

Hello,
NewB as well, but already checked the FAQ's and did a reasonable amount of
time searching the net/your newsgroup. No results so far :(

This is the prob:
The following interface is commented out because:
* got 'can't resolve "zp11ft" to IP address' from interface when trying to
query
I start mrgt as follows:
/usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mrtg /usr/home/mrtg/cfg/mrtg.cfg
I already played some with ifref=? and ifdesc=?, although not all
possibilities
tested...
The mrtg.cfg looks something like this: (only 1 interface included...)
