Thanks I gotta read up on that..(talking about legends etc...) Bc I
don't understand the shortlegend and the other legend stuff. (for
Daniel)
---- For list -------
I am going to try to do that and the other question right now is that I
am graphing Humidity and temperature of the computer room from a
measureUP tool. Now the real question is can I put them on the same
graph is one Measures Actual Temperature in Celcius vs. Actual Room
Humidity in Percentage. Is that possible to do in MRTG or Do I have to
convert because of math to rrdtool??

Assuming you have two oids to poll, and you aren't trying to do math on
one oid and not the other, there is no problem - just change the labels
with the legend and shortlegend options. Again, check the docs and set
them appropriately.

You will also probably want to have different max values, I believe
there is a maxbytes1 and maxbytes2 for just this purpose....

If you do want to do math on one value and not the other, you are going
to need to learn perl...

Ok fine.. As I expressed to paul my lazyiness has got to the better of
me. Sorry for that. Now here is the REAL question

Can you graph TWO OUTPUT values on ONE graph Meaning:
EX:
Output Load
Output Load Percentage %

Ok howz that ?

Josh,

It's pretty obvious you didn't read any of the fine documentation (aka
RTFM) provided at http://www.mrtg.org. Considering all the troubles
you've gone through to get this working, I would think you would be
pretty familiar with this doc. FWIW, the info you are looking for is
here:

http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~oetiker/webtools/mrtg/reference.html#colours

Good luck,
Paul

I think that is the right way b/c it is working.. Now my only other
question is what is the best way to change the colors in the output and
input Thanks Josh

Subject: [mrtg] Input & Output

I know this might be simple, But I am trying to write a config file from
scratch for me silcon kVA 40 UPS and Just wondering about Input/output..
If I want to graph say for instance: Input voltage vs. Output
voltage Do i put INPUT OID first and then Separate it by & and
then put OUTPUT OID after that..

Just curious if I am doing that right or am I totally wrong

thanks in advance
