[mrtg] Re: monitoring errors

I *think* you are still seing errors is because you have the gauge option defined.  If you have mrtg running in native (non-rrdtool) mode, look in the .log files and report back what you are seeing.  I would bet you are seeing the same numbers over and over again.  Do an snmpget on those specific OIDs to see if you come back with a number greater than 0.  MY guess is you won't.

I have used MRTG to monitor the interface's errors (ifInErros and
ifOuErrors) but I hadn t had chances to check if it was working correctly
yet.

Yesterday, we had problems with our router and the interfaces' counters
registered the errors. The MRTG algo registered these errors but after all,
after the router is ok and the counter errors are cleaned, the graphs
continue to register errors.

I'm using the following Options: gauge, growright, nopercent, integer.
