[mrtg] rrdtool and integration with mrtg

Hello

When configuring RRDTool with MRTG,  where does the line: LogFormat: rrdtool 
have to be added. As well, when I installed RRDTool, no 'bin' folder was 
created. Finally, is Visual Studio req'd to make this run?

This would be a great help to get me started
