If, and only if, the traffic on this router is *only* from and to the
IIS, it will work. It is very simple, the traffic isn't measured by
MRTG, it is measured by the router. MRTG just processes the numbers
that it gets from the router.

Now you got me confused. Do you want to measure traffic generated
from external users only, or do you want to measure *all* traffic
from and to the IIS ?
1) Determine exactly *what* you want to monitor
2) Find a place *where* these stats are available (where the traffic
is seen)
3) Find out *how* to collect the numbers
4) Verify that you get the correct statistics (using snmputil.exe)
5) Only then start to think about MRTG and how to feed the numbers into it
