[mrtg] rrdtool question ? current bandwidth ???

Hello All;
    I have my rrdtool perl program almost done.
    I use the "ds0:MAX"   for input Maximum counter.
    I use the "ds0:AVERAGE" for the input average counter.
    but I cant find a reference to the current read counter.

    Can anyone tell me what the ds0: counter for the current used bandwidth
is ?
