This was just discussed last week, but here's the short version.

Yes and no.

It is your preference.  You can monitor everything from one cfg file.
You don't have to.  Or, you can make up the cfg in "sections" and 
then "Include" them back into the main cfg.

Hi,

I'm using MRTG on windows 2000 server edition OS. I'm would like to use it
for monitoring several router equipment. I understand that an html web page
is generated each time it runs, for the interfaces of the router. What I
would like to know is how to have several routers being monitored at the
same time? Can I use the same mrtg.cfg file or it is necessary to have
several for each router?
