Yes you can add to your hearts content, but be forewarned that roll-over
checking is performed after the addition, so the chance of skewed data is
much higher with more links (or with faster links).

The way to avoid that is to poll all of the data individually into RRDtool
collectors and use RRDGRAPH aggregation functions to display the data that
you want.
