What you should do is set up the router with a bandwidth 64 statement - that
will change your maxbytes from 193000 to 8000.

Then, so the numbers look more like you expect, add options[whatever the
target is]:bits to your mrtg config.

64K is 64000.  The 1024K is only for memory, not data...
