[mrtg] Protocol Monitoring

Hi,

I am running MRTG 2.9.17 on an NT server and would like to break down the
usage on my WAN links to show usage by protocol.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a tool that will do this in real
time? Maybe it wont be related to MRTG, I would still be interested in your
thoughts.
