[mrtg] ping probe & W2K

Hi,
 
I searched a w2k long time pinging tool and found mrtg.
Nice tool: Installed and functioning!
To get the ping functionality I used the ping probe files from
<http://www.wtcs.org/snmp4tpc/mrtg.htm>
http://www.wtcs.org/snmp4tpc/mrtg.htm.
 
2 questions:
 
- Timeouts are logged with value "0" and so timeouts are reducing the
average response time. This is wrong. Is it possible to replace timeouts
with a maximum value (e.g. 10.000ms)?
 
- What I've to add in the config file if I want ping more than one host?
